50 Shades of Greyish???

I had never read Fifty Shades of Grey when a potential buyer asked me were the love scenes between my Ana and Ashton anything like Christian and Ana’s?

Sooo, I asked a friend who has seen the movie and read  the book about the similarities.

She laughed and said, “With your Ana there would be blood all over the place and it wouldn’t be hers’ shall anyone attempted those things with her.”

When she went into further details and made me understand what the fan was asking. No, my character is a not a bondage whipper, he is a smooth operator. He doesn’t abuse women. He is a lover not an abuser. He is a Don Juan, a Casanova, a Ballard more like Lord Bryon. He was doing these things before the creation of our world.  However, if he is sitting in a corner waiting for someone to arrive it is best they make their amends with God.

He didn’t become the worlds’ most legendary lover by abusing women. Despite popular belief, sane women do not go to abusive guys on purpose. He has to allure her by pretending not to be abusive.

He earn the reputation by being a legendary lover even if he doesn’t mean it.

The only character I have…probably close to Christian Grey is Nikola. He will be featured in further depths in a later book called Nikola. But he is a hater and a warlock so he probably is a lot like Christian Grey. I don’t know. I haven’t read the book nor seen the movie.

For the rest of the story about Azazel, you will have to read the book to find out about who he is.

Don’t worry, I haven’t tried to turn  Azazel into a suddenly good guy. I seriously doubt all the holy water in many worlds over could do that. LOL!!

Sorry about the errors in the first posting.

She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

This book is nothing like Fifty Shades of Gray. Azazel is a lover, he doesn’t beat the hell of women.

    • Actually I didn’t realize the main character in Fifty Shades of Grey abused women until others pointed it out to me. As I said, I have never read the book so I can’t make a statement on it.

    • Frank, I seriously doubt I could write in the manner of the writings in Fifty Shades of Grey. I try to write love stories. They are always happy nor have a happy ending but at last there’s love there. It’s far better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

I am glad you didn’t take the story along this line. There are too many out there like it.22.12.2016, 20:58, “The Novel: UnHoly Pursuit: Devil on my Trail” <comment-reply@wordpress.com>:

I try to create fresh new stories with my own story-line. If there’s any resemblance to other stories it wasn’t intentionally. But I see many people like the story.I looked it up and Fifty Shades of Grey has topped best-seller lists around the world, selling over 125 million copies worldwide by June 2015. It has been translated into 52 languages, and set a record in the United Kingdom as the fastest-selling paperback of all time. Fifty Shades of Grey has become the best-selling book in Britain since records began, surpassing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

It merely show there are a lot sexual freaks out there. How is beating a woman during sexual intercourse and before sex considered sexy? The writing isn’t that great, it’s the dirty topic that sells sexual violence against women. Violence toward women sells books. It’s sad so many women buy books exhibiting extreme violence toward their own gender. I bet men wouldn’t buy a book showing a woman severely sexually abusing a man.

Thanks for not writing another “female” being abused’ book. Another whimpering female main character. Women are much stronger than society believe we are.
