Good Hearted People

hunger-for-your-love

I’m always receiving poems and poetry from others. Sometimes articles such as this one. I found it in my mail this morning, I thought I would share it with you all since it’s the start of the month of love. I thought it was interesting. It’s strongly written but it’s most definitely true.
*******************
Here’s the thing about good hearted people. Most people don’t like them because let’s face it. They are better than most of us and shows us for who we truly are. They accept our excuses no matter how lame they are and even gives you excuses when you don’t explain yourself. They easily give us the benefit of doubt. No questions asked.

With a good hearted person there are no lies and pretense. They are truthful with you and hope you do the same but in most cases you won’t for you take them for a sap.

Most often than not, the explanation you give is that you simply don’t care. They accept apologies you don’t give. They see the best in you when you don’t need or want them to. At your worst, they lift you up, even if it means putting their own priorities aside. They are never too busy for you. They make time for you even when you don’t make it for them. They don’t ask why not?

But you may wonder why they are the most caring, sensitive people? You wonder why they are willing to give so much of themselves with no expectations in return. You wonder why their existence is not so essential to your well-being? It’s because they accept the love they think they deserve not that which they are due. It’s because they don’t make you work hard for the love and attention they gives you. They gives it unconditionally without you giving it the same. Many of us talks about unconditional love but very few are willing to give it.

They accepts the love they think they have earned from you, and you accept the love you think you are entitled to.

Some knows people like this and do not know how blessed they are. They thinks the person is gullible and will always be there. They think the person can not find someone else to bestow their affection and attention upon. But there are approximately 1,000 rotten, selfish people to 1 good hearted person so do the math. They will find another you. The problem is you won’t find another them.

So let me tell you something. One day they are going to get tired. They are going to wake up and realize you aren’t worth it and I warn you to dearly fear the day when a good heart gives up on you.

Many walks around saying they are sad. But if you should only look back in their lives you probably would see where they once had the loyalty of a good hearted person but abused it. For our skies don’t become gray out of nowhere? Our sunshine doesn’t allow the darkness to take over for no reason. A good heart doesn’t turn cold unless it’s has been treated with coldness for a while.

Good hearted people are far and few in-between, if you find one. Cherish them. Make the time for them. Don’t give them up for someone you think that is better. They may not be the most exciting people in the world but exciting people are usually nothing but trouble and heart aches. Most are unstable and unpredictable whereas a good hearted person is in your corner until the end. Don’t let someone else come in and steal your good hearted person because there are 999 other people out there looking for one. Know the worth of what you have because only a fool can not see the value in a  heart of gold.

She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

    • Hi, Amanda, I try to respond in a timely manner to each post but some days I miss a few. Yours appeared to have been one I misses. Please accept my apology. I agree many people do start out in life a good hearted person but the reality of life turned it cold. Only a selected few people can maintain the open heart of a child and not have it crushed by the world. In reality, no one who is surviving and making a living in the real world can do this. It would be wonderful if everyone could maintain their childlike innocence. But as we venture out into the world we must become more selective in who we let into our lives. Some people mistaken what having a good heart truly means. It doesn’t means being a doormat and allowing others to walk over you, ignore you, or mistreat you. It mean maturing enough to distinguish who to let in your life and who to shut the door on. Those who seek to abuse are always going to say the person who shut them out is selfish and cares about no one but themselves. All abusers are emotional manipulative people. So ignore them and do what’s best for you because any relationship is a two way street. and no one is anyone’s else servant. In order to get what you want out of a relationship you must be willing to give it.

I often see things online about how people ought be a good hearted person. That’s a great way to think if everyone else was one too. But in reality most good hearted people only end up used, abused and taken advantage of. People don’t appreciate folks who are kind to them. The more someone dog them out the more they love them. A good example is most men love bitchy women while they shun a nice lady.

Hey there! I just wish to offer you a big thumbs up for your excellent books and the great info you have right here on your posts. I am returning to your web site for more soon. Every time I come here there’s always something interesting to read. The main germ I like is you aren’t putting other people down. A lot of sites do that. For me, that’s a major turn off. Keep it real. Fans across the ocean adores you. 🙂

I believe in if you don’t have anything good to say about someone don’t say nothing at all. Those fans you knows across the sea tell them I adores them too. They are who I writes for.

Hurrah! I finally found a website I can actually learn something from! All I got a web site from where I can really obtain helpful facts regarding my study and knowledge. I had never heard of this guy until you wrote about him and I looked him up and found out there was once a real person named that. Oh I almost forgot. I agree. If there was more kindhearted people like you then the world would be a much nicer place to live.

    • I’m glad the site was useful to you in your studies but please remember I wrote of the ancient king in a fictional aspect not an actually historical aspect. I use the data from history to create the character but if you are doing academic research on King Eochaidh it is still best to check with your college library to see what they may have on him. For the one I wrote about supposedly lived in the 7th century while there were many others before and after him bearing the same name so you need to be more specific in academic research of which one you are referring to. 🙂

I can’t honestly say that I weren’t surprised and impressed by the sheer ingenuity of the different information here.|This is the kind of things I like to see. Informative things about rare and unknown facts.Plus, I agree with this post kind hearted people are hard to find. Most authors will not list another writer on their blog and if they do it’s for a price. I noticed I saw several other writers listed here. That was very kind of you. I hope people return the gesture. Something else I have noticed, a lot of people online won’t even click a like if they think it will help someone. But you’ve to be willing to help others before anyone be willing to help you. I know all this is off topic but it’s something to think about.

This is so true. I met such a person some years ago and didn’t treat her very well for I was a trust funded young man who was too immature to appreciate such a friend and haven’t found another like her since.

Yes, I tried many time to rekindle our love and befriend her but her new boyfriend, later husband wasn’t having it and she refused to even so much as speak to me.

I have married and moved on since those fateful years and so has she but I can tell anyone if you ever meet an earth angel, male or female. Hold on to them. They are rare, very rare. I can see this author is one of these rare angels among humans. How do I know? Having met one you know their trademarks but her man had sense enough to hold on with a dogged determination and I don’t blame him for you can search the whole world over and you will never find another love like theirs. It’s not their loss in losing you…it’s yours.

That is the post for anyone who want to know about being rid of a user and abuser and kicking them out the door. You understand a lot. It’s nearly impossible to win. It’s down right fascinating to argue with you. LOL! (not that I really would need to win LOL!). You’re going to win the argument with logic.

Everyone, A.White and I had been debating in private that rather or not Ana is too cold and unyielding with the men in her life. Nikola is really messed up by circumstances beyond his control and I asked the author couldn’t she write it that Ana falls in love with Nikola and change him. She said no, people like Nikola don’t change. He would only kill her and end the series. She didn’t want to give readers the notions that love and kindness change people hell driven on killing you. Your self-preservation come before their feelings. And if he stop coming after her and those she love then she would stop kicking his a$$.

Are you sure you aren’t a lawyer too? You definitely put a new spin on a topic that has been written about many times. Nice stuff, real nice points!

    • Hi Alonso, the ongoing exchange has been enlightening. I welcome a reader’s perspective on a plot or novel. No author can see the story from all points. But as I said before. I had considered this point of view but saw no way to work it into the story. You are welcome to exchange ideas anytime you like. 🙂 And no I’m not a lawyer but have studied law.

I agree with the others. People don’t want kind hearted people. The reason I say this is that when they get them they do nothing but dog them out. What they really want is someone who will let them walk all over them whenever they feel like it and kiss their behind whenever they present it. Anyone who won’t do these things isn’t viewed as kind-hearted. People wants a human doormat who will worship them and cater to their every whim. But yet they don’t have to be nice to them in return.

    • Thank you. People say they want good hearted people in their lives but what I don’t understand? When they find a good hearted person why they treat them so badly? Just because a person is kind doesn’t mean they are stupid and for some unknown reason people have a tendency to think they are.

      Liked by 1 person

      • Dragthepen says:

The reason why this happens is because the majority of people in the world have been damaged emotionally and some of not been taught how to receive kindness. We live in a get before you get got world. The kind hearted people are out number by the ones who are evil and cold.

        Liked by 1 person

        • That’s the best explanation I have heard in a long time explaining why there are so many people who ‘say’ they want a kind hearted person but when they find one they don’t treat them right. They treats them more like “I’m doing you a favor by sticking around or letting you hang out with me.”

Yes, I agree the bad ones far outnumber the good ones. But seems to me even if people has not been taught to receive kindness, it’s a basic reception in all human’s nature they could be able to recognize it when they see it. I have seen people who grew up treated horribly but they turned out to some of the most beautiful people you ever wanted to meet because they knew first hand what it was like to be treated badly and decided to never treat anyone how they were treated.
