As you all know I try to share what’s going on with the series from time to time. So I’m sharing again. A potential fan asked if this series anything like the popular television show “Supernatural” by I have an Azazel as main character. No, it’s not. The only things Ana and Dean and Sam have in common are the fighting demons and the supernatural elements. My main character, Ana BuFaye isn’t trying to find demons. She’s trying to escape them.
The UnHoly Pursuit series was started before the show was aired. Unless the show was first before 2000. If you note I always put in front of each book when it was written as well as when it was published. But I can see where the creators of the show got a lot of their ideals from the same ancient books as I used. But that’s where we went totally different routes. With Ana, it’s not a family business. It’s more like a family curse. Her family has been fighting them for hundreds of years mainly because selective relatives have been endowed with supernatural gifts from God not Lucifer. But no she doesn’t travel looking for demons. She is not looking for things to fight. They come looking for her.But if they look for a fight she will give them more than they bargain for.
I am presenting Azazel more along the lines of how other ancient texts present him. I reasoned it out as many other scholars has. He was once a heavenly general, a king, so why would he follow Lucifer if he is a direct son of God and Lucifer is a created being?
I don’t want to get ahead of myself in revealing too much. But for anyone who have read the first book which I strongly advise to understand the ones that follow. You know Nikola is nothing like Crowley from Supernatural. He’s much worst.
I felt it was best to clear that issue up since some of my characters has the names used in the show and they both deals with the supernatural.

But frankly, if I were a demon, I would rather meet Dean and Sam than Ana BuFaye when she is peeved off. LOL!

Tell people to read the book. It’s nothing like Supernatural. In many ways. It’s much better. Yeah, I said it. Because it is.22.03.2017, 02:07, “The Novel: UnHoly Pursuit: Devil on my Trail” <comment-reply@wordpress.com>:

No, the only thing this series and the television show have in common is the word “supernatural.”

I am wondering should I had started the series with Ana’s combative natural…but nah! I don’t think so.

Ana is fine the way she is. Many people are so sick of the damsel in distress type heroine. John and Dean Winchester are little boys in comparison to Ana BuFaye. She’s strong if she’s strong enough to handle Azazel and Nikola who are both a whole new level of crazy. She’s my hero
