A Fan’s suggestion.

I always welcome fan’s suggestions to improve the series. Yesterday a fan’s suggested I create hotter love scenes . I never name anyone because this conversation was private. They asked why don’t I spice things up a little by adding a little smut. I believe Azazel having harems are enough smut. They suggested maybe adding something like a threesome with Azazel, Ana and Dawn. I do not write those type of love scenes.  In my opinion those aren’t love scenes, they are sex scenes. Yes, Azazel is the ultimate alpha male but that isn’t the side of himself he shows to Ana.

However with my basic story line they wouldn’t work. There’s no way to make it work. Ana is too jealous of Ashton for that to work. She came from a rigid Christian background in the deep south and I don’t foresee those people changing even 500 years from now. And Dawn is too possessive of him for it to work and Azazael isn’t going to share Ana with anyone else. Male or female. There would be a bloodbath stretching for miles had anyone attempted that with him. He’s very jealous of her. He’s even jealous of  Thad her first husband and they are divorced. So there’s no way he’s going to share her or anyone else with anyone. He isn’t the sharing kind.

Ashton is an ancient god and has been in many different societies, which you will see in later books. I’m portraying him just as the ancient texts described him as being very siddity and uppity.  He’s bourgeois, snobbish or pretentious and people like that believe they are far above smut.

The plot of the stories doesn’t quite allow that type of activities. Someone would end up hurt or dead. The couple below isn’t about share the other willingly with anyone else. Ana doesn’t know about his millions of past lovers. She suspect there maybe million of them but knowing and suspecting are two totally different things. He’s Azazel and hurts or kill anyone who know of his past and try to inform her of it. Just because he’s in love hasn’t exactly made him a nice guy. He’s in love with Ana not anyone else. To everyone else he still behave like Azazel.

She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

Alma, you don’t have to answer potential fans who ask such questions as this. If they want smut there’s plenty of it out there. Let them go find it. How much hotter they want it? Azazel is literally on fire about to burn every thing down every time Ana is around him. LOL!

Alma, please don’t change this series into smut trash. It’s a classic. Well written, well researched so keep it on that level. If the series is not sexy enough for anyone let them go read one of the smut books. There’s no short supply of them online. They are everywhere. They are as plentiful online as porn. Books like yours aren’t. They are far and few in between.

What I don’t like about smut is they have the audacity to call them romance novels. No they are not! I think it an insult to a woman’s intelligent to tell her that someone banging her within five minutes of saying hello is in love with her and will do all he can for her. I am not saying love at first sight doesn’t exist. I believe it does but in most cases it doesn’t. It’s lust at first sight and it’s giving too many young women the wrong idea about life and love. You can’t sex your way into an experienced man’s heart. Every woman knows a guy have to already be in love with you to revisit for any thing other than sex once the first time is over. At night he will promise anything to get the woman in bed but in the morning when he’s thinking clearly with his head on his shoulder he is going to rebuke all those sweet words and you may never hear from him again. These smut books tell young women they can sleep with guys within fifteen minutes of him saying hello and he’ll fall in love with you. That’s bullshit and degrading to women. Too many women believe that is why the dating world is in such a mess. Everyone sleeping around and there’s no love and romance in the equivalence

    • Ann, thanks for the compliment. That means a lot coming from you. I had no idea what smut books were until a younger readers explained them. I’m just learning a lot of terminology that didn’t exist online five years ago. WOW! Ann, perhaps you should be the “LOVE GURU.” :D. But seriously thus, IMHO, I think every generation has to learn for itself what works and what doesn’t. After a few scraped knees each generation set their own tone. I think they’ll be ok. If not they have lots of big sisters like you to make sure they are ok.
