Book review of “The Tree”

As I said before I appreciates all reviews for people do not have to take the time to write them. I feel if they took the time to write them I ought to show my appreciation by posting them. I am posting it exactly as it was written. The link take you to Goodreads. The second one, to the PDF.

2467, Brunswick, GA. (Tidwell County). 1-day Jacob BuFaye looked in horror as his daughter Ana BuFaye (3) had ran a pitchfork into her foot.
It must have been laying around while he, Jr. BuFaye (son/brother) & the other workers were tending to the farm chores.
Off to the hospital they went.

ER Dr. Lehrman, nurses/staff, police & a social worker all greeted them.
Fantasia “Fannie” BuFaye (wife/mom, literature teacher, nee Preston) got full instructions how to tend to the injury.
Sheriff Greg Lent was dealing with Clint Tidwell who wanted the Preston Farm Eminent Domain because of several yrs. of unpaid property taxes.
There was quite a historical side to this property.
2469, Ana Bufaye (5) seems to be scared of a lot of things.
Helena Bufaye (13) her sister who sleeps in the same room makes nighttime feel a little safer.
Outside their window is an evil looking man who stares up at Helena.
2471, Who is & what happed to Cooter?
Helena Bufaye (15) had won the $500 pies, cakes & cobblers contest.
Mr. Lamont Burke (Barbecue Pitt owner) also won $500 for his BBQ entry.
Sheriff Greg Lent & Deputy Sheriff Kate Langston were on the scene as PPL were being rushed to the hospital because of food poisoning salmonosas food poisoning.
Ana (7), & Jack BuFaye (son/brother) were still alive.
Chymes (daughter) did not make it.

Who would survive & who will perish?

Warning: This book is for adults only & contains profanity. It may be offensive to some readers.
I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review. Only an honest one.

A very awesome book cover, great font & writing style. A very well written paranormal book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a large set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great paranormal movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.

About unholypursuit

A. White, a former librarian who is also long time member of Romantic Time and Publisher's Weekly. A. White has been writing for over fifteen years. She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

I agree with the review except for the part where are there parts that maybe offensives to some. I saw nothing to be offense to anyone. The only people who might find this offensive are racists. And anyone who think their 7 and 8 year old do not cuss when they are not around is only fooling themselves and need to come live in reality.

The historical things mentioned in the book actually happened. I know you used them fictional but the stories are real. Like The Red Summer of 1919 and how overseers and masters treated slaves. All that is real and it happened. I commence you for having the courage to write it because that same mentality still exist today. What happened back then is why we are having so much racial tension today and if it doesn’t get better it’s still going to be passed from generation to the next as it has always done. No one was alive from these era so why the attitudes still exist? Because they are taught from one generation to the next. And all you are saying is we must stop it to have a brighter future. The people of Brunswick learned better and did better than their ancestors and refused to allow the racist BS in their town. It had caused them too much pain centuries ago. That’s why the old doctor told Janey Tidwell to get the hell out their town.

Ana Bufaye is a time traveler, a time walker and history isn’t going to change or put on it’s finery because she’s delicate and from a different era, and happened to have step back into it. History can not change no matter how unpleasant it is. Our job is to learn from it and do better. Not avoid it because it’s unpleasant.

What does people think all the stalking and harassing online is all about? No one can be that stupid. Evil can be directed at anyone.

I don’t see how anything you wrote is offensive when we have school shootings on a daily basis. We have psychos running around doing weird things to people. Like stalking people they don’t know. We have job shoot ups. What world would anyone live in who would find this offensive? I utterly pity them shall they ever have to face the cruelty of the real world.
