How Will History Judge The Generations Of This Era?

Each generation and era is judged by their successors. This era is inhabited by a wider variety of different generations ranging from The Greatest Generation, The Silent Generation, Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Millennials. Will those of the future look back on us wondering as we often have of those of the past. What on earth was wrong with us? Why couldn’t we get our act together and pass on to them a better, more peaceful world.

We all have read the misdeeds of the far distant past and even the not so distant past and wondered what was wrong with those people? Thinking to ourselves, “There’s no way they have not known that was wrong, petty, stupid, evil, or whatever. You’re partial the reason we’ve laws against such and such.”

Some contemporary critics have said that all the inflammable activities of the past two years have incited the mental imbalance to commit crimes they normally wouldn’t have. I can not say for sure but strong words does promote actions. Especially, if the individual is already incline to the speaker’s way of thinking. One must already harbor the idea for it to be fanned into a fire.

No one knows what sort of technology they may have in the future but we do know everything you write rather it’s thoughtful, derogatory, kind, senseless, deep, racist, demeaning or whatever will all make you immortal. Everything you write on the internet will survive as long as the internet exist. My personal belief is that things will become more transparent in the future than today. People will be able to pinpoint exactly were something comes from and who wrote it. I know that already exist to a degree. I believe this accessibility will be extended to the average person worldwide.

Imagine a thousand years from now people sitting down analyzing this era. What do you thing they will say about us? Will they call us primitive and backward? I’m strictly speaking technology wise but social awareness wise all so.

It may never effect you personally but may someday affect your children and grandchildren and so on. None of us know what the future hold but each of us can make it better by what we leave behind.

Think it over.

About unholypursuit

A. White, an award winning former librarian, who is also a long time member of Romantic Time and Publisher's Weekly. A. White has been writing for over fifteen years. She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.
