Rarely does I reblog an interview if it isn’t my own and do not blog all of my own but I know this one is worth reblogging.
Rarely do you find someone online who will openly speak the truth and is yet a real activist in helping others.
I didn’t know him very long but I learned that Giovanni was such a person that helped others and it is a lost to the entire blogging community that he has retired. He’s the only blogger I met who actually worked indiscriminately at introducing bloggers to each others.
Sadly, I know and have experienced the deadly road he’s speaking of that his wife and son was fatally injured upon. It’s a very dangerous stretch of Chicago and the traffic, day or night is very fast moving and condense. While living in Chicago I took it once and once was enough.
His colorful choice of words did not bother me. I live in the real world and have heard much worst.
No, I wasn’t impressed with the sharp suits he wore very well, my husband wore suits everyday and owned many and it was I who had to pick them up from the dry cleaner for he never remember to do so.
But what I was impressed with was his dignity and integrity and genuine concern for others.
A person can have never uttered a single profane word and still have no integrity. We see them everyday and believe they have integrity because they say what we want to hear but most people like that whose public face is too good to be true are someone totally different behind closed doors.
I don’t know where he is right now on the internet or if he’s still on the internet but where ever he is I wish him well
