If It’s Big. It Happens In New York.

It seems as thus being the largest city in the world comes at a high price. And I’m not speaking of the outlandish rent. It’s seems that anything occurring on a large scale is apt to happen in New York City. It has become ground zero again, in less than a score (twenty years). New York City have the highest coronavirus death rate in the country.

So far, nationwide, there are more than 1.25 million confirmed coronavirus cases and 73,000 deaths in the U.S. on Wednesday. But the little ray of hope is that we have had 167K recoveries.  [ These number changes hourly]

The state of New York have 319K confirmed cases +2,239 suspected cases and 19,415 deaths. So, the governor is not exaggerating when he say stay home. For we are in a natural disaster like nothing the modern world ever seen.

About unholypursuit

A. White, a former librarian who is also long time member of Romantic Time and Publisher's Weekly. A. White has been writing for over fifteen years. She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

    • Yes, you’re right. It’s hard to wrap your mind around the magnitude of it all. It feels surreal. When it first began, it felt sort of like something one imagine a character in a Dystopia novel or movie might feel. Thanks goodness nothing broke down into a major rampage of lawlessness as it is usually the case in dyspeptic societies movie and novels. Because this is real life and I hope people are careful about reopening.

      • Yes I’m completely with you, it’s so surreal and bizarre it’s as if you’re in someones sick game.
I’m just trying to think of the positive here and there for now it’s the only thing keeping me sane. Hope you’re staying safe and well x

        • Yes, it is surreal. A lot of people left the city back in March and moved in with relatives in Upstate. Staying positive is a good way to maintain some resemblance of normalcy.
