African Shaman levitating

Can humans levitate?

Normal things, even humans, can levitate if they are placed in a strong magnetic field. Although the majority of ordinary materials, such as wood or plastic, seem to be non-magnetic, they all exhibit very weak diamagnetism. Such materials can be levitated using magnetic fields of about 10 Tesla.

A. White, an award winning former librarian, who is also a long time member of Romantic Time and Publisher's Weekly. A. White has been writing for over fifteen years. She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

Has anybody else ever seen anything like this? Sadly, I have not. I do wonder though, why the levitation had to be at night. Does anybody know?

    • Nor have I ever seen it. I researched it when I used it in a book. I researched it because it’s said several saints possessed this ability. People actually witnessed them levitate. I found that explanation listed when looking for a physical, physics orientated reason as to why this may be possible.

My friends say it’s done at night so no one can see the wires lifting the man. LOL!

  2. When I was in years 7 & 8 levitating was banned at my school. I have both assisted others and have been levitated myself – without realising the significance of such things it just seemed a great way to spend a lunchtime 🙂

    • Suzanne, mind if I asked what school you attended where the students were levitating? I can imagine it was banned. You might fall and hurt yourself. Can you still levitate?

      • it was a in catholic high school schoolyard in the 1970s. levitation wasn’t like in the video. It was daytime, no ring of fire, there were 4 girls next to a girl who was lying down all in school uniforms. We didn’t imbibe substances, nor was there any air-borne substances (as might be in smoke/incense etc). We said some words and that girl’s body became lighter and lighter until we were able to lift her with a total of 16 fingers to about head height. I was also one of the girls lifted. It is a really strange light as feather body and mind experience. I can’t remember where the chant and method came from. I was always considered ‘odd’ right from early primary school. I won’t give any specific details about the levitation technique. We were lucky that Spirit was looking after us as playing with energies like that without any guidance in retrospect was not advisable. At the time the only downside was that the nuns eventually found out, and banned levitation, and gave us all detention. I was always considered ‘odd’ right from early primary school. My Nanna was my first mentor, and since I’ve been a professional trance medium since the 1990s. However, I haven’t tried levitation since my school-days.

        • Wow! That’s quite an account. I never conversed with anyone who actually did it. That must had been a mind blowing experience.

Did you feel anything abnormal or exalting before the beginning of the chant? Or during it?

Yes, I would say you all were blessed nothing negative was drawn unto you. Other than the nuns and their rulers. LOL! It may had not been anything wrong or bad. It may had been just the way one of you are. According to the Bible, people are gifted with many different things. Some natural and some supernatural.

I have read about the technique you just described but never met anyone who actually did it.

          • It’s a long time ago however I do remember after our giggling stopped and it became less of a game being played and towards something more – I can’t say for the other girls but for me it felt like just being in a state where nothing else mattered except for the focus; a lightness and a strength, not physical strength but an inner strength. It is similar to certain meditative states connected and allowing myself to become one with Spirits channelling. These days when there is a spirit from the astral there is a sense of deflation on the spirit leaving my energy sphere, however with a Spirit of high vibration my sense of energy and being remains huge, at peace, and uplifted even after that Spirit leaves. With the levitating while I couldn’t say definitively (both due to inexperience of energies and spirits back then and memory now) it was probably a type of peace during the chanting and afterwards that I remember.

  3. These days I give readings – channelled instead of using divination tools such as cards. My focus is on the healing aspects of energies rather than displaying showmanship. I believe the levitation that I was privileged to participate in and explore gave me insights into subtleties of the energetic world.

    • I have heard of people with the gift of healing. It’s mentioned in the bible in 1st Corinthians 12. The Gifts of healing are among the spiritual gifts listed in 1st Corinthians 12. As an extraordinary charism, gifts of healing are supernatural enablements given to a believer to minister various kinds of healing and restoration to individuals through the power of the Holy Spirit.
