I think this is an interesting article. But I’m trying to figure out how are there more millennials and boomers when between 1946-1964 it was not uncommon for one family to have 5 to 8 children? I guess the Boomers was numerous that it didn’t take that many children per couple.
I think the Silent Generation is so small mainly because of the social, economic condition at the time of their birth. The Great Depression was bludgeoning the country.
Another thing I found interesting is that there are currently members of all these generations alive and well and in many families; living in the same household. (I didn’t forget generations Y and Z.) Thanks to the marvels of modern medicine many more families are seeing fifth and six generations.
