Yesterday, around noon, some say a tornado passed through our area. I didn’t see anything, but it got nighttime dark and the downpour was blinding. Like buckets of water was being poured.
Usually when a tornado is passing everything turns an odd green, it’s hard to describe the color if you have never seen it.
Back in 2005, I stood in my kitchen and watched a funnel plow in the field on the other side of our house. There was a strange vacuum feeling to the air.
Why didn’t anyone go to a closet or go the bathroom and get in the tub? No one knew it was coming until it was there. It just slammed down in the middle of the field and started plowing.
There was none of the freight train sounds usually accompanying a tornado.
The funnel of 17 years ago, it was green instead of gray as always shown in pictures.
