Roe Vs Wade Has Been Overturned. Some say it feels like we are going back in time. Back to the days of the “Scarlet Letter”

Next year would have marked its fiftieth anniversary .

It feels like we are going back in time. Back to the days of the “Scarlet Letter”

It feels that way because we “are” moving backward, not forward.

All the progressiveness of the 20th century has been shot straight to tarnation in the first quarter 21st century.

In 1970, Jane Roe (a fictional name used in court documents to protect the plaintiff’s identity) filed a lawsuit against Henry Wade, the district attorney of Dallas County, Texas, where she resided, challenging a Texas law making abortion illegal except by a doctor’s orders to save a woman’s life. In her lawsuit, Roe alleged that the state laws were unconstitutionally vague and abridged her right of personal privacy, protected by the First, Fourth, Fifth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113, was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States generally protects a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion.

Date decided: January 22, 1973 Trending

Decision: Opinion

Majority: Blackmun, joined by Burger, Douglas, Brennan, Stewart, Marshall, Powell, these were some of the most influential, free thinking justices ever to resides over the Supreme Court.

Argument: Oral argument
Ruling court: Supreme Court of the United States
Location: United States
Subsequent: Rehearing denied, 410 U.S. 959 (1973)

Some are suggesting gong after birth control next.

I fear other liberties are in danger as well.

About unholypursuit

A. White, an award winning former librarian, who is also a long time member of Romantic Time and Publisher's Weekly. A. White has been writing for over fifteen years. She took classes in creative writing in college, specializing in ancient myths and legends. and later at a local community center while living in Chicago. In college she won the national contest to verbally list every country in the world, it's capital and ingenious language. Her works are mainly horror, fantasy, extreme, and sci-fi as well as, as some may says, "the truly strange predicament and puzzling." Books that I've written are "Clash with the Immortals, and eleven others which are part of the "Unholy Pursuit saga,". She has been working on the Chronicles since 2007. She wished to complete them all before introducing them to public so the readers wouldn't have to for the continuation to be written. The ideas of the book come from classic literature such as whose work greatly influence the world world such as Homer, Sophocles, Herodotus, Euripides, Socrates, Hippocrates, Aristophanes, Plato, Aristotle and many more. The "Book of Enoch" influenced the usage of Azazael as a main character and love interest. I created the primary main character from the Chronicle of Saints. I wanted to show them as real flesh and blood with thoughts, desires and yearning as any human. Not as they are so often depicted. So I created one of my own to show her as a real human that everyone can relate to.

This doesn’t surprise me. I guess, next comes the legalization of arse whipping again. Reinstating the thump thick stick rule. Sure rich women won’t be affected by this but poor women lives just changed for the worse. This is where the male worship climate of the last thirty years have landed women and I hope they are happy. This is just the beginning.

Giving some states back this power you might as well give two year olds loaded guns. That about how dangerous it is. Women need to vote to overtrump this decision.
