As everyone who have been here any length of time know that I’m always willing to help anyone I can. A friend recently called her plight to my attention.
To an able-bodied person, this may not seems like a big deal, but to a disabled person their entire life hangs in suspense.
They are right. Northern winters are harsh. And cabs have lost their mind.
I’m glad GoFundme changed their policy of: If not the goal is met the person gets none of their money. That’s how it once was.
A Friend’s GoFundMe: Disabled and Need Help With Auto Repair.
Hi, my name is Ann, and I’m fundraising to repair my much-needed car. Winter will soon be here, and I need a way to get around in order to be able to take care of myself. Northern winters are very harsh, and for a person with disabilities, it’s worst.
I’m disabled with numerous health issues. I suffer from asthma, heart condition, hearing loss, and back pains from two auto accidents. One accident was a head-on collision. Recently, I fell and injured my hip. I sincerely need my car in to get around. I have been trapped indoors for two months. Missed several doctor appointments. Due to pain and inability to climb the steps, I can not ride the bus to go to the grocery shop and go to the doctor’s office. Cabs here, are nearly twenty dollars one way. I can put twenty dollars worth of gas in my car and ride for a month. I need the ABS on my car fixed. The ABS light won’t go off.
It’s unsafe to drive it because I live on a mountainside, as I showed in the picture. That’s a mountainous sunrise. I know it needs brakes repair and state inspection done too.

My goodness! This poor woman has so many problems and ailments! Did she say how the recent injury happened? One of her conditions alone is enough to render most people confined to a life of an invalid.
Sounds a lot like car tampering to me. Some places if the state have mandatory annual inspections your car will always have something wrong with it when it come around the time for inspection.
Does her state require an annual inspection?

Yes, New York has some of the strictest, dumbest laws about annual inspections in the nation. I can understand them in condense populace areas but where Alma’s friend lives it’s not crowded. There’s a lot of dishonesty in the mechanics business. New York isn’t great for helping genuine causes , real Americans, but if it’s dome dumb shit , they are all for it.
It’s fine if they keep these inspections in high traffic areas like the metro NYC area, but to have the same requirements for the entire state is ridiculous. Here you can’t use plastic bags, foam cups and plates which are often used to feed homeless people because of the birds but yet we have one of the largest homeless populations in the world. Like that tent city we just built.

First. Of all I want to say thanks to all of you for your concern and advice on my situation. But like Alma said, people have bringing me things for the past two months but I know it won’t continue indefinitely. People have lives of their own to live.

I forwarded the link. It’s hard to accept and wrap my head around the fact that one person has so many serious conditions. One of them alone that’s listed is enough to destroy the quality of life. Coolio had asthma.
I’m assuming she was born in the USA because if she was a foreigner New York would not only help her with her car but give her other things too.
Alma, are you all sure she isn’t a victim of gangstalking? I think she is. Unless she was born with some of these conditions… Something very severe happened to create a heart condition. People don’t always recognize gangstalking when it is happening to them.

I thought so, because of the unusual list of medical conditions. She probably was born with the hearing loss and asthma, but the auto accidents and heart issues both sounds like they were induced.
Gangstalkers do mean, cruel, horrific things to aggravate existing conditions. I suspect both of these auto accidents were staged. suspect that because disabled people according to statistic are some of the most careful drivers on the road.

I’m not sure if my first post went through, but if you know someone please send them with her if she raise the money to fix her car. Send them with her because things point in the directions like Tyre said, someone is tampering with her car. Tampering with it to force her to do whatever they want her to do.
Ask her is there a clucking sound when she put on brakes? Oh, my bad. I forgot she can’t hear.

No, she can’t hear something like that, but she might be able to feel it. Hearing impaired people are a lot like blind people in feeling things and emotions.

Brendan, thanks for your concern. I’ll go with her. I may not be a certified mechanic but my father taught me a lot about cars. I used to hang around the dealerships’ garages whereever my husband was working at the time and asked questions.

I thought I was imaging things when my car used to always have an a major repair bill every year when I lived in an annual inspection state. I moved to another state, a state with no annual inspections and now my car runs fine. I saved money by moving to a cheaper place where people leave your car alone. Some states got rid of these inspections for the very same reason.

Yes, some states did get rid of them. Some states caught the rings being run to make sure people paid out lots of money. I remember back in the early 2000 we had moved to such a state and the mechanic said my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. I knew he was lying because my car didn’t have the type of extremely expensive catalytic converter he was talking about. I was aware of the kind he mentioned that’s connected to the engine. But that’s a very expensive car which has that kind and the exhaust system kind.

No Hedi, you were imagining things. There are people who go ahead and wreck havoc on people cars. I don’t know why they do it, [truthfully I know why they do it, because they are crooks and will take advantage of anyone they can, but I’m trying to be nice.] The moment you move to an area with a gaggle of auto shops and dealerships, you can count on something happening to your car. Never mind you might be living paycheck to paycheck or is on a fixed income and may not have the money to fix it. That’s totally irrelevant. The worst place to park a car is an apartment complex.
I don’t know if the show still comes on or not, but there was an adult swim cartoon called “King of the Hill”. A character named Dale who was an insect terminator who raised bugs in his basement to plant around his neighbors’ place so that they would call him to come get rid of them. Well, the same things happens with cars.

A., tell your friend to go turn her car on, turn the on switch but don’t start the car. Pump the gas pedal three times in quick sessions. If the ABS light is still on, then go ahead and start the car. It could go off. If not, then drive the car around at above 15 MPH. If the brake lights aren’t on it is safe to drive on flat land. The ABS keeps a car from sliding in bad weather it does not control the brakes. I know some mechanics will lie and say it does but it doesn’t. Now, what’s going on with her brakes? Sounds like tampering. I suggest she make a police report so that if anything else happens there will be a record of what’s going on with her. These two things doesn’t spontaneously happens on their own.

By we live in the same state I went to take a look at this woman’s car. I drove up there this morning. She is telling the truth, there are three hills to climb to get to her place. The bus stop is at the bottom of these three hills. There is no way an asthmatic can climb those three hills without passing out. One of these hills are about half a mile long. Hell, I couldn’t climb them without panting.
I got the car running again. But whomever has been working on her car has deliberately place lugs on it that did not fit her car. I saw lots of deliberate errors designed to later create costly repair bills. I corrected as many as I could with the tools I had.
I went because I was nearby and it was the right thing to do.
Ms. Clark was as sweet as can be.

No Australia doesn’t prohibit Gofundme groups. This operates in all the richest countries in the world. I went to visit this woman today and did as much work as I could with the tools I had. I’m sorry if you as an individual has been scammed but this is not a scam. I met with this woman today and worked on her car. I was not to do all needed to be done. But I got it back to running. There’s still work to be done.

I agree, they are the ultimate picture of cowardice because they hide behind a group. Usually there a lot of them around when the victim faces them. They do it publicly where there are usually just happens to be cops around who will arrest you not them. They want you to attack them so that you can end up in jail. Usually, a targeted person is killed in jail or a mental institution.

Sure, Yernasia, cops in Wonderland will arrest them and a judge will believe you and throw the book at them. But you won’t find neither of these two in modern day America. Some cops are part of the problem. A part of the gangstalking network. Why do you think they are always nearby, ready to spring into action while the gangstalkers are doing their dirt. There’s no way anyone can miss as many as twenty to fifty or two hundred cars following one car. Why they never pull them over? In most cases, the stalkers are all driving the same color car. True, all of these evils eventually fell, but not before millions lost their lives. But however national armies were organized to defeat them. That’s not the case with what these people are taking about. Most victims of gangstalking do not have an army fighting for them. How may I contact her? I was reading some of the comments and I have to agree with the others, somebody is abusing this woman. And has been abusing her big time. It’s not strictly about the car…someone wants her immobile so that they can easily reach and abuse her. All these medical conditions make her an easy target.
I’m so angry about this that I’m telling everyone I come across.
I’ll pray for her. If there is a hell I hope they burn in it when they die.

Amanda, I saw this woman today. Although, I am no doctor but I can tell when some one isn’t feeling well. Anyone can tell if they stop being an a$$hole long enough to pay attention. If even they bother to look and quit trying to make it seems like nothing is wrong with the person. I met A. White too. Both are very beautiful people, inside and out. I’m honored they trusted me enough to tell me exactly where they were.
I’ll go back until her car is running properly. There’s no way this woman can climb those three steep hills carrying package and anyone who want her to needs to be put before a firing squad and shot. This is not the Great Depression Era anymore. Heck, I could barely climb those f*((&rs and there is nothing wrong with me. One of them is very steep.

It’s common to have one auto accident in your lifetime, but two disabling accidents. I don’t remember who said they were staged, but they are right. I’m so angry because I lost an infant niece in a staged auto accident. It happened over twenty years ago but our family often wonders what she would’ve looked like? Her mother survived but she was never the same.

Somehow, there always seems to be a cop around or nearby when they are showing their a$$es. Pulling out a gun will get you killed. Yes, they do. They still expect people to pay. This way of doing business didn’t start until so many companies started outsourcing debts. When companies handled their own debts there was much more humane in debt collecting. Instead of that, they allowed thugs to damage their name.

The misfitting lug nuts will cause problems that can be dangerous. I’m sure this woman’s car wasn’t bought this way. Sound like to me someone took the original ones off and put those on to create expensive auto repairs. Idiotic fools don’t think ahead: If their client is killed in auto accident then your dumb butt will lose a customer. This is exactly why my state doesn’t have these minelayer money gobbling inspections. They do nothing but pave crooks pockets.

I can relate to this story. I once had a job where I had to be at work at 6:00 a.m., someone disabled my car, I did not the money to fix it. There was bus out where I lived. When I got paid I had to choose between rent and food or fixing the car. In short, I lost my job leading to the loss of my apartment. We ended up homeless without even a shelter to go to. No car to sleep in. We ended up in the local tent city where we were attacked. After the attack the state took my two year old and I am just now getting him back.
The people who attacked us admitted they disabled the car to make me lose my job. Other homeless people helped us fought them off. These people are very evil. Hopefully something will be done about them soon. They attacked the husband of the Speaker of the House.

For the last fifty years the cost of living greatly exceed the wages, therefore most people do not have a rainy day sash of money. These people are fully aware of what they’re doing when they disable a car.
If you have had to exist on reduced pay, reduced earnings and menial laborer doesn’t pay a lot. Therefore you have to do things to keep from starving, have had to not pay some bills and resolve what to pay and what can wait or had an surprising auto repair or high heating bill, therefore you can connect with those asking help.. If not, you have no clue what she’s speaking about. Many live paycheck to paycheck, or a disability check which at the first of each month is gone, and there’s never enough left to have an saved any money for a rainy day. With some help people like Ann can stay free and independent.

I hope this woman raise the money needed to get her car fixed. If I had it I would give it. I know exactly what this is like to live on top a steep hill. You needed a car to get and down it. I used to live on a hill. I only had one hill to climb. I lived there because it is cheaper than down in the valley. One winter I was snowed in for to week because my car battery died on me. My refrigerator and kitchen’s cabinets were bare by the time I finally convinced a cab to come all the way up the hill. The driver charged me forty dollars one way. Well, that went my food money. So, yeah, I know exactly what she’s talking about..

If Gofundme took smaller payments than five dollars I am sure many more people would donate.

I agree, I think so too. Pennies adds up to dollars. Sites like Gofundme used to take small payments. Now, nearly no processing service will take anything under $5.00.

Someone did some work on this woman,s car and disconnected the ABS system. It looks like someone didn’t know what they were doing or did it deliberately.

This is the plight of most handicapped people. I hate it when people use the elevated plight of the disabled from wealthy families as the guide line for all disabled people.

Oh how I truly wish I could help your friend. Unfortunately I had to post a gofundme me the other day because of a situation from many years ago. If my situation was better I would help. I do wish her better luck then I had though. Sending hugs her way.

I am so proud of how your campaign generated some resources. Most people who post a GoFundme get absolutely nothing if they aren’t a celebrity or their case doesn’t make the local or national news. I have been where you minus the addiction part but I can tell you it gets better or it gets to the point it just doesn’t bother you anymore. 🙂

The donations I received were all from people here on WordPress. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have received anything. I am do grateful for the kindhearted people on here.

Before I made my account I read some of the other gofundme accounts and was shocked at what people were asking for. One woman was asking for donations for makeup, and what shocked me even more was that people were donating to her. Seems like people that really need help dont get it while others get thousands of dollars.

I read some of those ridiculous campaigns too. I agree, about the trivial of some donations. It proves that people are not as cash strapped as they say. It’s the cause. Let me guess…the make up job was to surgical alter her appearance to look sexy?
I hope she wasn’t asking to buy those ridiculous spider eyelashes so popular today.
