About three or four days ago we got our first snow for the 2022-Fall-Winter Season. It wasn’t much, but still an unwelcoming sight. I expected us to be buried in snow around January through March.

Is this early for you to be getting snow? Glad that it didn’t settle! No sign of any here but we usually only get some in Jan/Feb if at all. Stay warm!

It’s the northern United States and some may say it’s expected to be cold. We, sometimes get snow around Christmas. A few years we have had snow from Late October-Early November to March-May. I’ve seen it snowing here in May. It’s not strange for Easter Sunday to be snowing and the Easter Egg hunt is held indoors.

Ah, thank you, yes, if you are north then that makes sense. I can’t say that I would like snow from November to April but I do like the novelty value of an Easter Egg hunt in the snow! 😉
Hope you have a mild winter this year! 🙂

I spent lots of time here as a child and sort of tolerate it. No, it’s not fun to hunt eggs in the snow. Easter clothings aren’t made for snowy days. I believe we’re out of luck for a mild winter this year. We’ve learnt over the years to brace ourselves for the onslaught. 🙂

Thank you for your warm hospitality. If I could come, I would. I have never been to Africa. I have read so much about it but seeing a place is a lot different from reading about it.

Oh my gosh. Already? Girlfriend, you guys be careful up there. I cannot say that I envy you one iota. We have freezing temps in the morning, but it warms up a little during the day. No snow though. Whew! Like I said, stay safe. 🌬❄🥶

Yes, it sort of early this year. Here, it is hot in the summer, not as hot as down South, but hot enough, and cold as the Viking’s Hades in the winter.
